One of the most unique anime ever created. Unlike many other anime, Figure 17's episode running time is around double that of a standard anime episode running time. Add to it, in it's initial broadcast, an episode was shown per month rather by per weekly. The cels are hard to come by as the show is 50% done by traditional cels while the other 50% done by digital paint.
But not only that, it is one of the most engaging series ever written. It chronicles the ups and downs of a normal 10 year old girl, who bears a great responsibility of saving the world, and thru alien technology was given a twin sister who is an exact opposite in terms of personality.
Oh and funny enough, it is also endorsed by the Hokkaido Tourism board.
